Christopher Peter Meloni (born Christopher Peter Meloni) is an American Actor, best known as a star of the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While at college, Christopher Meloni has been attracted to the world of acting. He went to study acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active in TV and film and on stage, his appearances on the small screen were what earned him popularity. There is no doubt that his characters have been able to capture audiences' attention by playing characters on both one side of the legal system. In the first television show, he played the part of a murderer. Then, he went on to play the part of an NYPD Detective. Because of his appearances on smaller screens, he's been awarded many nominations for highly coveted Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. His piercing blue eyes his face are considered to be his most attractive aspect of his appearance. The eyes have been employed to portray rough characters and make them more appealing. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
